Architectural Review Committee
Your architectural review committee (ARC) consists of Buckingham Homeowners (Volunteers) responsible for maintaining the architectural standards of the association. Like many homeowners’ associations we have a set of standards when it comes to the architectural design and structure of homes, landscaping addition of sheds, etc.. You can find these standards in the Documents Section under Guidelines. We are Homeowners within the Subdivision like you, from it's inception the Buckingham Homeowners association has placed significance on uniformity, particularly when it comes to the exterior appearance of properties within our community. Like most HOA's we have certain deed restrictions dictating what you can and can’t do with your property, including how it should look. This is why many houses in planned communities look similar. This type of uniformity does benefit homeowners in the end. The consistent look of properties contributes to the general curb appeal of the neighborhood. This, in turn, improves property values. If you wish to make architectural changes Such As, new paint colors for your home, landscaping design changes, removal of trees, or even adding a shed or fence, you will need to complete the ARC Review Form. As a Committee, One of our most important responsibilities is managing the application and approval process for such modifications. |
Neighborhood Watch
Neighborhood Watch is simply a program of neighbors watching other neighbors' property. It is thousands of eyes and ears whose owners have organized together in groups to report suspicious activities or crimes to the Sheriff. Citizen participation is one of the most effective tools against crime because the job of stopping burglary, robbery or sexual assault is impossible for the Sheriff to accomplish alone. the Buckingham Neighborhood Watch Committee provides a way for us to help one another by keeping an eye on each other's homes and property. When a member of a network sees a suspicious person or vehicle, he or she should call the Sheriff's Office immediately. Is it an Emergecy? Dial 911 Non Emergency: (813) 247-8200 |
